Without a doubt, the biggest attraction in Chianciano is the baths with its healing waters and mud. The town’s backbone is its spas and therapeutic resorts where numerous different treatments are available using the region’s fertile mud in many of them. The town’s history dates back to Etruscan times – as early as the 3rd century BC, so the museum has lots to offer if you are a history fan. The town is surrounded by well marked footpaths and bike trails – many of which are easily reachable from our farm. The historical centre boasts a beautiful clock tower which has undergone several
restorations, but the structure was first built in the 13th century when it was one of the bastions of the castle of Chianciano.
